Jaclyn & Bryce

The Pavillion of Carriage Farm | Raleigh, North Carolina

September 24, 2022

Jaclyn and Bryce’s wedding day at The Pavillion of Carriage Farm featured a bold pink color palette that complimented the country elegance of their venue. The two met in 2014 while attending Rutgers Business School orientation, where they began their love story as friends.

Jaclyn and Bryce lived in two different locations while with family following their MBA graduation. The New Year was approaching, and the two desperately wanted to spend the celebration together. With COVID restrictions still taken in effect, they decided to stay within the country and explore Scottsdale, Arizona. “Bryce planned the whole thing daily, with excursions for 4 days,” Jaclyn mentioned. She knew all the festivities awaiting them except for the biggest one yet, THE PROPOSAL. Bryce proposed to Jaclyn on one knee after their one year of dating. Surprised and at a loss for words, she said YES. Years later, they were back in Raleigh, North Carolina for their special day.

Romantic details with a bold pink color palette

When Jaclyn and Bryce began their wedding planning, they knew they wanted to embrace a soft romantic color palette. They chose a color palette of hot pink, medium pink, light pink, and cream with blush pink bridesmaid dresses to create a soft touch. When searching for their perfect venues, Sacred Heart Church in downtown Raleigh featured stunning stone details that caught their eye. The Pavillion of Carriage Farm reception venue had a gorgeous lush green exterior, perfect for the pops of color and a barn with an elegant interior. The treelined field reminded Bryce of the scenery, he experienced growing up in Oregon as a child. Both venues were special in their own way!

The Wedding Day at The Pavillion of Carriage Farm

I love that there was so much detail that Jaclyn and Bryce incorporated into their wedding, making it feel unique to who they are. The ceremony honored intimate Catholic traditions, which led to the exit of bubbles filling the air and a charming bus ride to the cocktail hour. There was Italian ice cream awaiting guests, a live band, and a painter who painted special moments of the couple throughout the night. The wedding concluded with a sparkler exit as they headed off to their honeymoon in Italy!

It was so much fun capturing Jaclyn and Bryce’s love story, from engagement photos to their special day. If you are a soon-to-be-wed, I would love to hear from you. Send me all the details here, and I will be happy to discuss your special day!
