Emerald Isle Engagement Session

Don’t you just love a good beach day?! The weather here in North Carolina is always so unpredictable, so of course we got the chillest day of the week for Jules & Spencer’s engagement session down at Emerald Isle.

Jules & Spencer are getting married at the beautiful Merrimon Wynne house in Downtown Raleigh, so they wanted a different kind of backdrop for their engagement session. I had happened to be at Emerald Isle for a wedding a couple weeks before their session, and they thought it would be perfect spot for their engagement photos!

These two lovebirds met in college at Virginia Tech, and are both from Northern Virginia (where I happen to go to high school!) so we had lots in common in moving to the Raleigh area. They included a sweet VT quilt made by Spencer’s Grandma, which helped keep some warmth on this chilly November day.

I am so excited to share some of my favorites from their session! It was an absolute beautiful day at the beach, and I always love watching the sun go down at the beach and the drastic changes in colors in the last hour of the day.

I can’t wait to celebrate with these two in 2021!
