Lauren and Everett’s fall wedding at The HighRock Farms featured deep colors of plum and wine and beautiful fall season-inspired details. Lauren has always loved purple hues, so it was no surprise they would be embraced into their color palette on the couples special day!

A love inspired by true friendship

Lauren and Everett’s love story began as two strangers who met because of a mutual friend. Their friend knew the two would be perfect for each other. So after spending time developing a solid and supportive friendship, they realized it too.

Months later, Everett gave Lauren a heartfelt shock after he proposed to her while the two were participating in a Heart of North Carolina Wedding photoshoot! What made it even more special for Lauren was finding out both their moms were in on the surprise too!

Lush greenery and a wine color palette

From the start of their planning, the wedding venue was the couples most important decision. They desired a venue that could accommodate all their loved ones while also searching for the perfect outdoor location to help their color palette of plum, wine, mauve, and white to pop with color throughout their ceremony and reception. With that being said, on their first visit to The HighRock Farms, they instantly fell in love with the chic venue and lush greenery and were inspired to create an elegant and ethereal wedding.

Floral Dimensions, owned by Everetts family, put together beautiful bouquets which complimented each bridesmaid who wore a different hue of purple. Lauren, being the graphic designer of Wilkinson Creative Co, also added her special design touches to the invitations and wedding signage. She is such a talent!

The couple emphasized how important it was for the guest to have a good time, especially on the dance floor and DJ Graham played the perfect songs that kept everyone up and moving the entire night. As their final goodbye from their celebration, they exited with family and friends who held sparklers as the couple headed off to their DisneyWorld Honeymoon!
