Mackenzie & Hunter | Castle McCulloch Wedding
July 25, 2020
This past Saturday we finally got Mackenzie & Hunter married! With over 2 years of being engaged they were so ready to tie the knot! I met them over a year and a half ago for their engagement session in November of 2018 on a freezing cold day in the mountains. So it was fitting to get them married on a ridiculously hot July day!
Mackenzie started her day at the gorgeous JH Adams Inn in High Point, North Carolina. Their suite was perfect for getting ready with tons of natural light for hair & makeup, as well as space for her & her bridesmaids.
Once they were ready and dressed, we headed over to Castle McCulloch where the boys were getting ready. They had an incredible set up happening when we arrived. The doors of the castle were being adorned in greenery and florals for the backdrop of their ceremony, with candles placed, which created such a romantic mood in the castle foyer.
The most special guest for the wedding was Louie, Mackenzie & Hunter’s goldendoodle. When he saw Mackenzie walked down the aisle, he was so excited, he sung a little song in his approval of Mom wedding’s look! Hunter and Mackenzie wrote their own vows, which were so sweet, but had their own little jokes.
Though we got to take some of my favorite portraits after the ceremony, I think their nighttime portraits are my all time favorite! Part of their engagement session was nighttime photos with all the Christmas lights, so being able to do some special ones, was so much fun, especially since the Castle grounds were incredible at night!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!
