It is always so nerve wrecking to ask someone to marry you, but when I talked to Adam about proposing to his girlfriend, Sydney, all I heard was excitement!

Adam planned to take Sydney out to Belhaven for dinner with friends, a place that they have been talking about visiting, but really he was taking her for a night away to propose.

At the gorgeous River Forest Manor and Marina, Adam got down on one knee and asked Sydney to marry him. Of course she said YES! and she had no idea! Several friends and family knew, including her sister, and they gave zero hints that anything special was happening. It’s not often that they have no clue what is coming.

Sydney and Adam are so adorable together, and everything was perfect (and look at that stunning ring!) It has been crazy storming the past week in North Carolina, so we were so lucky to have a clear night.
