Jesus & Eric | Now Amber Puerto Vallarta Mexico Wedding

What a dream! That’s all I can say about Jesus & Eric’s Wedding this past Friday! From Chicago, and all across the US, their friends & families flew into Puerto Vallarta Mexico. If you’re not sure where that is, it is on the west coast of Mexico a good days drive from San Diego. Mexico held a special place for them as that is where they got engaged in Cancun!

Eric & Jesus’ wedding party was filled with their closest family members & friends and chose to alternate the aqua & coral colors that mixed with their grey neutral suits. This was the colors of their invitations, which they hand stamped with colorful custom wax seals. Jesus went all out with picking Gucci belts, Burberry sunglasses & sparking Steve Madden shoes.

Before their ceremony, Eric & Jesus shared a first touch that was so tearful, as they exchanged gifts. There honestly was barely a dry eye the entire day. Eric & Jesus had several Mexican traditions as a part of their ceremony, including the Arras (coins) and Lasso. They also did a sand ceremony, aqua & coral sand that can never be separated now. Eric’s older sister was the officiant for their ceremony and teasingly drew out “you may now kiss your husband” before triumphantly walking down the aisle married!

After some pictures on the beach in their ceremony suits, Eric & Jesus changed into the most amazing sequin suits for their reception, surprising the crowd as they were introduced into the reception. After dinner, we snuck away from some sunset pictures, before heading back for toasts, cake cutting, and first dances! Eric & Jesus both shared first dances with their mother’s before sharing a mix first dance with each other. Perfectly mixed to start and end with “Earned It” by The Weekend, it perfectly kicked off their open dancing!
