I met Jordan & Alex back in November during their engagement session (check it out here!) They were the sweetest and snuggly couples I have ever met. We hit it off immediately, and I knew they were just so perfect for each other.
This past Saturday was pretty magical. Jordan and Alex got married at the beautiful Barn of Chapel Hill at Wild Flora Farm. It may have been the hottest day of the year so far, hitting up to 95 degrees, but it was a gorgeous day. The girls got ready at Barn of Chapel Hill, which has the cutest little suite on site, and there was so much joy and laughter in the air. Jordan & Alex are one of the most thoughtful couples I have ever met, and they have a love for hand written notes. Not only did they write letters to their parents, and bridal party, but to every single guest in attendance, which served as their escort cards. How absolutely amazing is that?!?! Jordan’s bridesmaids returned the favor (knowing her love of handwritten notes) and surprised her with a box full of notes from them and loved ones. I may have been a little teary-eyed the whole day.
Jordan shared a very sweet first look with her Dad before the ceremony. Jordan and Alex also shared a first touch around a door, where they prayed together, and talked before the ceremony. Alex showed off his cufflinks, which were a gift from Jordan. Jordan had saved a penny they found on a date together back in 2016, found a matching penny and had it made into cufflinks for Alex. Are these not the sweetest and sentimental couple or what?! One last hand hold and a fist bump and they were ready to get married! Their ceremony was full of love, laughter and worship. From singing together, and amazingly sweet vows their loved shone through so brightly. Jordan and Alex did a feet washing ceremony as well, which they said was so refreshing due to the 90 degree day as well! After their first kiss, and so exciting walk back down the aisle as husband & wife, the next 10 minutes were non stop hugs and congratulations from all their loved ones.
Their reception was another non-stop love fest, from their beautiful first dance, to toasts from Jordan’s parents, Taylor Jordan’s sisters and Matron of Honor, and Jacob, one of Alex’s groomsmen. Jordan and her Dad’s first dance was extra special, as her brother and brother in law performed the song they danced too. They danced the rest of the night away, and even had a special private last dance before their sparkler exit!!!
I hope you two are having an amazing time in Grand Cayman!!!!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Nelson!!!
