When looking for a perfectly scenic location for your marriage celebration, you cannot go wrong with an ocean-view resort! Luckily, Charleston effortlessly offers the best one. The Kiawah Island wedding venue is a magical place for breathtaking bridal celebrations with elegant and dreamy features. Moreover, it is the ideal spot for intimate events away from the noisy city streets.

For me, it is one of the most heavenly places I have ever worked in. The stunning landscapes and the dreamy backdrop feature the perfect scenery for bridal photographs. Natural settings give the outstanding results every couple desires, ensuring a gorgeous Kiawah Island wedding! 

Kiawah Island Wedding Venue – Elegant Ambiance and Unique Elements 

The Kiawah Island Resort is an excellent venue for weddings due to many reasons. It is situated in the heart of Kiawah Island, a stunning place just outside Charleston – the surroundings are simply unparalleled. By day, you get the chance to enjoy the jaw-dropping views of the ocean, while during night, you have the opportunity to feel its romantic vibe. The sunsets and the starry night skies are features every dreamy celebration needs. 

In addition, the resort allows you to create the bespoke setting you have imagined for your big day. For this particular affair, there was a gorgeous tent that added a dose of elegance to the lavish surroundings. Also, there were plenty of unique details to make the union authentic. Combined seating options, along with a miraculous table setting, made the celebration elegant yet comfortable. The comfort of your guests is also a factor you must consider when choosing a venue!

A quite intriguing feature of this Kiawah Island wedding was an installed bar in the middle of the area. Since pastel colors were the signature hues of this event, it was essential to match the whole theme. So, the pastel mint color of the bar was an impressive detail that surely caught everyone’s attention. 

Awe-Inspiring Bridal Attire 

Every striking location requires gorgeous attire that will complement the ambiance. The bride and the groom did not fail to match the signature tones of this contemporary wedding. The bride’s ceremony dress was a fabulous bridal gown with an amazing train. Her reception attire included a short dress – simple yet elegant and, most importantly, perfect for long hours of dancing. 

The groom wore a beige suit with subtle, colorful details to blend with the dreamy pastel elements of this colorful wedding. Together, they made a glorious combination. I really enjoyed taking the portraits of the couple because, in this setting, they looked like they had just stepped out of a fairytale. 

Delicate Wedding Decor 

Since the resort offers wondrous views and ambiance, there was no need for any added extravagant details. Subtle floral arrangements were enough to complete the setting and provide the ideal backdrop for an intimate wedding. However, the ceremony included a big floral arch to commemorate the big moment of the couple generously. 

Shooting this Kiawah Island wedding was one of my favorite photography experiences. The spaciousness of the venue meant opportunities to experiment and get dreamy photographs that would serve as precious memories for the bride and groom.
