There is nothing more impressive than the picturesque foliage fall provides. It is even more spectacular when you are able to incorporate this scenery into your photo session with a loved one. Kate and Jake’s fall engagement photo shoot was an absolute dream because nature provided them with the most stunning backdrop they could ask for. They picked a wondrous location for their session, and the experience was surreal. 

Taking romantic photos in such a scenery was a glorious experience. Plus, Kate and Jake made it very easy with their carefree and relaxed attitude. Working with them was simply a delight! 

The “Wow” Effect of Wake Forest, NC

The first part of the fall engagement session took place in the heart of Wake Forest, NC. I wanted to use the natural treasures of the surroundings since the sight was magical. Kate and Jake posed in front of the camera freely and without any hesitation, so these photographs turned out to be unique. The tall trees, with their changed fall colors and the lavishly green grass, created a stunning backdrop for these shots.

They decided on casual clothes for this part of the engagement photoshoot because they wanted to blend in with nature. The final results of the session showed that this was the right decision. Their attire, along with their playfulness, contributed to spontaneous photos with real emotions. I had so much fun shooting these moments because they were not shy to portray their love in a true light!

The Breathtaking Landscape of Falls Lake

We continued the fall engagement session by the shore of Falls Lake. The jaw-dropping views of the lake created a perfect ambiance. We chose a time of the day when the colors of the landscapes produced a magical setting, and without a doubt, we ended up with some awe-inspiring results. 

Kate and Jake decided to use digital and film photography. This scenery was ideal for both, and since they could not decide which one to pick, they chose both. It was the right thing to do because it would be a pity if they did not have spectacular memories of these moments. Such beauty could simply not be wasted! 

During the session, the couple decided to change their attire to add some versatility to the magic of film and digital photography. Their second combination of clothes included real fall hues, so the photos had dreamy effects. When I shot these photos, I knew they would take everyone’s breath away, and I was right! 

Fall Engagement Shoot

Working with Kate and Jake on their fall engagement photoshoot was lovely. They enjoyed being in front of the camera, and I loved that they were so relaxed the whole time. Moreover, they openly expressed their wishes about these shots, so I knew what they expected. I was happy to meet their expectations and be part of their magical moments.
