Market Hall Raleigh, NC

Brittany & Eric! What two joyful people so excited to marry each other at their Raleigh wedding!

One of the most fun days, full of lots of inside jokes. I met Brittany and Eric at the Weddings & Warehouses event in January of 2020. Weddings & Warehouses is an event held by some of the industrial event venues in Downtown Raleigh, which is a chance to visit them all in one day with transportation in between them provided by The Great Raleigh Trolley. It is such a cool event for couples to see a variety of spaces. They got to begin their wedding planning with COVID, but thankfully they had no date changes or issues when it came to their big day.

First Looks & Ceremony

Brittany and Eric decided to share the first look, and so, they shared their personal vows that they wrote for each other. The boys got ready in Market View while the girls got ready in the Park view getting ready suite. They chose to have their ceremony against the wooden door, with their reception in Market view. Their friend was their officiant & was a perfect comedian and public speaker for their ceremony. There were so many good moments during their ceremony. Their ceremony took advantage of both of Market Hall’s spaces. They got to complete all their photos before the ceremony, so Brittany & Eric decided to take some time together during their cocktail hour up in the getting-ready suite before heading down to chat with their guest before they made their big entrance into the reception.

Sharing the first dance with each other, they sang along to the lyrics. Brittany shared a dance with both her mom & dad, inducing tears in both of those parents. Eric shared one with his mom. Brittany’s sister, her maid of honor, wrote the best rap toast that she performed with the best man, and it may have been the greatest moment. It was one of the moments that I wished they had a videographer to capture the moment in full! The large space was perfect for all their guest, and the large dance floor. Mr. Brightside was one of the biggest hits for the night for the entire crowd.

Congratulations, Brittany & Eric!!!!
