Avery and David had one of the most glorious love unions in Raleigh, NC. They have incorporated the perfect blend of elegance and romance in their celebration, and they picked the right venue for it. The Merrimon Wynne wedding venue truly provided everything they had envisioned for their day. Working with them was a real honor. Both the bride and the groom were open about their ideas and did not fear being spontaneous in front of the camera. It was quite a memorable day for everyone! 

Avery and David’s love story story began at work. They spent so much time together, and they never got tired of it. So, once their relationship felt ready to be taken to the next step, David decided to propose. The intimate proposal led to their gorgeous bridal celebration in Raleigh, NC, where they cherished their union most uniquely. 

The Fabulous Merrimon Wynne Wedding Venue 

The couple did not spend much time looking for a venue. When they saw Merrimon Wynne, they knew they had found the very place they imagined for their modern wedding. They wanted an elegant setting without too many details. Moreover, they also desired simplicity since they were not very keen on extravagant details. So, once they laid their eyes on Merrimon Wynne, they knew that this was the place where they should celebrate their next chapter.

Merrimon Wynne is all about sophistication but simply and subtly. The venue did not require plenty of decor because it offered an amazing setting on its own. In fact, this is exactly what Avery and David loved the most. 

A Romantic Ceremony 

The couple wanted to get married in a church, but they wanted to incorporate an intimate feel. So, Sacred Heart was the ideal place for exchanging vows in the most romantic setting. The ambiance of the church is truly majestic, completely matching the theme of their whole Raleigh wedding. Simple, yet very sophisticated and with a dose of romance. 

The intricate details of the church created a stunning backdrop for their ceremony. The colorful work of art on the windows gave an exceptional background to their special moments. As their Raleigh wedding photographer, I decided to experiment with spontaneous photos outside the church since the architecture was simply amazing. And the outcome was exactly how I imagined it would be – breathtaking! 

A Unique Reception 

Since both Avery and David opted for elegance and simplicity, they decided on black-and-white elements that gave them the desired ambiance. In addition, they also included subtle floral arrangements and romantic candlelight to complement the gorgeous setting of the Merrimon Wynne wedding. There were some all-black details as well to make the perfect contrast to this fabulously elegant atmosphere. 

Avery and David’s wedding at Merrimon Wynne was a true celebration of love, just like they wanted. The guests enjoyed the event and all the features that made it so remarkable. Everyone spent the night dancing and laughing in the name of love. It was a tremendous experience, and I loved every moment of it!
