I am so excited to share some of my favorites from Scott & Julie’s beautiful wedding day at Walnut Hill in September. We didn’t have the best of luck when it came to Julie’s bridal portraits, having it downpour right when we got to the venue, but the storm passed leaving behind lots of wet puddles and dark stormy skies. So when we saw a rain cloud on the forecast in the afternoon we were concerned. Luckily it was just so hot and humid out, that it just downpoured for half an hour while still pretty bright out before the sun came back out for an absolutely beautiful day. Timeless Love Weddings and the Walnut Hill team dried off all their seats quickly before the ceremony was set to start. Luckily we were still able to take bridesmaid photos outside after the downpour, and Walnut Hill has a gorgeous wrap-around porch on the house providing light & cover for groomsmen portraits. Having a venue with multiple options for rainy day pictures is such a blessing. Scott and Julie shared a first touch on the porch, reading letters they wrote to each other, before heading down the aisle.
