Gerri Anna & Dalton

The world keeps churning slowly and surely! Weddings have been postponed, but marriages still happening. Small intimate gatherings for the past couple of months have replaced what we used to know as weddings. Though we are now allowed to have ceremonies with all the guests we want! yay! Gerri Anna & Dalton had originally planned on a May 30, 2020, wedding with their ceremony at The Oaks of Oxford, followed by the very first wedding reception at The Orpheum. Though they were able to have their ceremony at the gorgeous Oaks of Oxford, they moved their reception to be outdoors to accommodate more people. Thankfully North Carolina’s weather is fickle and the week of non-stop rain ended up being a beautiful, yet hot and humid week, and weekend!

Gerri Anna is also a photographer as well, so I knew that she was going to have some extra special details for me! Her mix of boho with sweet southern was perfect! The mix of pinks, blues and yellow were perfect from the florals, to bridesmaids dresses, and even the smoke bombs!

Gerri Anna shared the sweetest first looks with both Dalton, and her dad! The look of joy on their faces were just so wonderful all day! If there were any a moment that proved that first looks don’t ruin seeing each other at the end of the aisle, because Dalton’s tears, combined with the giant smile on Gerri Anna’s face was the most perfect moment.
