Elkington Events Eastville VA Engagement Session

Avery & Justin | Eastville, VA Engagement Session

August 31, 2019

I lived in Virginia for 4 years and never made it down to the Virginia Beach area. We’ve explored a little bit now that we are living in North Carolina, but I’d never been to the peninsula just off of Virginia that makes up part of Delaware & Maryland. Called the Eastern Shore of Virginia, I did some research of the area and found the cutest little event space. It reminded me of the house I was married at, and thought it was a long shot of the owners letting us do their session there on such short notice that I didn’t bring it up. Little did I know, that the address I met Avery & Justin at was the very venue I fell in love with online! Turns out Justin helps them out (he pointed out some of his handy work) and knew the land well. Dreaming of shooting a wedding there now, but was so glad we started off their engagement session there! Definitely check out Elkington Events!!!

We got to spend a little time with Avery & Justin’s dogs at their cabin, before heading to a private beach to finish off their session. Once we got barefoot on the beach, we got a little bit more active, popped some champagne and got in the Ocean. You could walk out 100ft and be at the same depth. The sand was amazing soft and beautiful it reminded me of Mexico!

I can’t wait for Avery & Justin’s wedding this May!
