Jessica & Rudy | Akiin Beach Club Tulum Wedding
April 27, 2019
I am still in awe of this wedding! Every time I go to edit, I am amazed at such the amazing celebration Jessica & Rudy had! These two love to travel, and it has been crazy the adventures they have been on. It was no surprise that they had a destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico. It speaks so much though that over 100 people traveled there for their wedding. It was full of so much love & joy, you never wanted it to end.
Jessica got ready at one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen, and it was appropriately named Casa Carolina! It was right on the beach with thankfully air conditioning, a private pool and lots of space to get ready with her 11 bridesmaids. The boys got ready back at Ahau Tulum. I love their details of the day, including the ring box Jessica got that was filed with sea-glass the two had collected during their travels. This color palette had me in serious love with bright blooms, and a mix matched bridesmaid colors and dresses. They fit together so perfectly. I loved the boys floral ties, so unique and fun!
Jessica didn’t let anyone except her mom & sisters know what her dress looked like before the big day, so she shared a first look with them, along with her Dad. There was no a dry eye in the house when it came to Jessica and Rudy’s first look! I’m the first to admit that Rudy made me tear up, as I went down and told him it was time. The waterworks had already started. I’m not sure how many cell phone shots there are of us on the internet, because almost every passerby when we were out on the beach taking photos, took photos of us. Rudy gets award the best champagne popper in the world! Just wait until you see those photos!
Their ceremony was short and sweet, performed by the Maid of Honor’s brother, so it was truly a special ceremony. Crowds gathered on the beach to watch the bride walk down the aisle, and wind was a little extra frisky with Jessica’s veil. These two were just meant to be, and it was evident the entire day!
The reception was non stop, with delicious food, a churro truck, photo booth, and a surprise drum light show! One of the funniest parts of the night was the jumprope dancing. It was hilarious, watching people dance to fake double dutch! Well that’s enough from me, enjoy scrolling through their amazing wedding day!
Congratulations Jessica & Rudy!

Such a gorgeous wedding. You did a fabulous job capturing their day. And I gotta say that those laser cutouts are gorgeous.
