Oh Alyssa & Chris! Hands down one of my favorite couples of ALL time.

I love these two, the fun they have, and just the most relaxed couple I have ever met.

I met Alyssa & Chris back in October, at maybe one of the most chaotic places you can do an engagement session, The STATE FAIR. They were totally relaxed about the craziness, and even let me experiment with some nighttime shots (that ended up being some of my absolute favorite pictures of all time!)

We started the day at Alyssa and Chris’ house, where all the girls were getting glammed up. After some quick getting ready shots, I headed over to Highgrove to start their details. There were so many special things included in their details, from their classic invitation suite, her grandmother’s ring and grandfather’s handkerchief, to even a Smirnoff ice (you may see where this is going). The girls toasted with some champagne before getting dressed & ready for the first look! After the first look we took some quick portraits of them (saving the rest for sunset!), and we were able to complete all their bridal party photos & family photos before the ceremony began.

Their ceremony fit them to a T, it was so perfect. From snoop dog quotes and lots of laughter, a simple unity ceremony and they were MARRIED! They were able to relax during cocktail hour and mingle with their guest, before getting the party started inside the ballroom. I normally don’t post SO many reception photos, but these guys were ready to dance PLUS they had one of the most exciting garter/bouquet tosses of ALL time. Let’s just say involved Pony by Genuine, a cowboy hat, Smirnoff ice, and the brides younger sister & her boyfriend catching the bouquet and garter. You’ll have to scroll down to see it, but I did not stop laughing all night.
