This past weekend, I got to back “home” aka Northern Virginia for Peter and Emily’s Wedding!!!

Emily and Peter are one of the most in love couples I have ever met. The way Peter looks at Emily and vice versa is the absolutely sweetest, they are so in love and it is so evident to everyone around them.

We started the day in Emily & Peter’s Brand new apartment in Fairfax, where they took turns getting ready. They both wrote each other notes to read, and got gifts for each other. They chose to share a sweet first touch moment together before heading to the ceremony.

Peter and Emily were married at St Robert Bellarmine Chapel in a traditional catholic ceremony. There ceremony was full of sweetness and laughter. Peter and Emily stole so many cute moments together, and the ceremony flew by! After they shared their first kiss, the exited out of the church to a tunnel of bubbles before getting whisked away in Peter’s car!

We then headed to Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club for the reception in Gainesville, VA. We hopped on some golf carts to go to a gorgeous little spot with a gazebo & pond for their portraits, and were thankfully able to have rain free time outside!!! If there is one thing that I love, it is long gorgeous veils, which Emily had made by her sister-in-law and it was absolutely beautiful!!!! Their veil shots are some of my favorites!

Their reception was so much fun! The toasts given by Emily’s Dad, Peter’s Dad, Stephanie and Ben were so funny, and even involved a call from President Obama. They had the most fun chatting with all of their guests, and dancing the night away. We got to sneak away for some sunset portraits and some nighttime portraits as well, and even got one giant picture with all of their guests!!! (Thanks to the stage next to the dance floor!)
