Botanical Gardens of Asheville Intimate Wedding

Botanical Gardens of Asheville Intimate Boho Wedding

Sam & Max shook up the normal in the best way for their wedding this past Saturday. They had a very intimate morning wedding in a beautiful garden right outside of downtown Asheville.

We started our day at the eclectic Adorn Salon in downtown, where Sam, her three bridesmaids & mom got all ready for the day. There were drinks all around, with lots of laughter.ย  Sam had the most gorgeous boho lace gown, which was the perfect backdrop for her detail photos. Sam collected her something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue, which were beautiful details for her day.

Sam and her Dad, shared a first look before getting in the town car to head over to the ceremony site. The beautiful Botanical Gardens of Asheville hosted the ceremony & reception. At 11 am Sam walked to her groom, with the sun out in all its glory. In a quick ceremony, Sam & Max exchanged rings and did a hand-fasting ceremony in which a four strand knot was tied with their vows to each other. With the threat of rain all day, we made it through the ceremony, family & bridal party photos before it starting downpouring! Thankfully, they precautionary had a tent, and while lunch was served the rain stopped and the sun came out again. Just because it was 1 pm, didn’t mean people didn’t dance! With some professional dancers, and lots of drinks people had fun on the dance floor, played giant Jenga and cornhole. It was absolutely so much fun!

As the trolley came and picked up the first load of people, we snuck off to do their portraits together, exploring meadows, the creek that ran across the gardens, and one of the beautiful bridges!

Congratulations Sam & Max!!!!
