One of the most nerve wrecking moments in a man’s life is proposing. At 4:30pm this past Monday, I received a call from Zack. The photographer he hired was no longer going to make it! Needless to say he was freaking out a little as in only 3 hours he was planning on popping the question! After he explained his plan, a couple hours later I found myself sitting at Vinos Finos in Lafayette Village hiding my camera and waiting for Zach and Courtney to arrive. Zach was driving from Columbia, SC to Raleigh, NC to visit his girlfriend for their three year anniversary. After sitting down, ordering some food and drinks, Zach got down on one knee and proposed!!! Courtney was so surprised! She had no idea he was planning on popping the question tonight, but she did say she thought he was going to propose over Christmas break. 

Zack chose to propose at Lafayette Village because it was built in the style of Paris. The two had dreams of visiting Paris one day, but he said this was close enough for now! The beautiful corridors, architecture, string lighting and fountains provided a beautiful romantic setting.  

Courtney’s beautiful ring was a family heirloom from Zack’s family and has been passed down for more than 100 years! 

It was so easy to tell how in love these two were! They never let each other go and there was not stop smiling and giggling!!!
