Yesterday I went to the North Carolina Museum of History to see their Willie Kay Exhibit. I was a history major in college and being from the D.C. area I have a love of museums. 

Willie Kay was an amazing seamstress from the Raleigh area. She created gorgeous gowns for debutants, weddings and more.

I went with several other creatives through The Rising Tide Society, and we went during the perfect time as they had an extended exhibit this week! 

If you get a chance, definitely go check out the exhibit! Admission is free to the North Carolina Museum so why not!
