One of the biggest compliments you can get as a wedding photographer is having ANOTHER photographer hiring you for their wedding!!!
Emily is a photographer in my native Northern Virginia, and they both grew not too far from me! When we were discussing engagement locations she wanted to do the not so typical northern VA/DC engagement session, so we headed to the National Portrait Gallery in DC! You don’t see photographers shoot there so often because it can be a challenge lighting wise, and natural lighting is scarce.
We explored almost every inch of the museum (which everyone should do if they have the time) as well as some time outdoors as well. Gotta love 60 degree days outdoor.
I can’t wait for their May wedding in Virginia!
We love the photos, Arika! I think the challenging lighting, and all the bustle of event prep kicking us out of the best spots, was totally worth it! <3
