Christine & Stephen

These two just make my heart so happy. I walked away from their engagement session, so excited for their wedding. From matching tones of sarcasm to being complete nerds, I could’ve hung out with them all night. Their wedding day was exactly the same, and was a nice change of pace. They chose to have an intimate wedding at the Thomas Crowder Woodland Center, located near Lake Johnson.

Christine got ready in their apartment with her best friend of 15+ years Tanisha, and her mom. They hand made the bouquets, floral circles and centerpieces themselves and featured Christine’s favorite flower, daisies! Much of their wedding was DIY, including the invitations that Stephen designed, and they hand painted their favors, terra-cotta planters with seeds! The cake was made by Christine’s mother & aunt, and Stephen made the cake topper.

As dark clouds rolled over Raleigh and thunder was heard, their ceremony stayed dry, as did the next couple of hours! When it did rain, we were left with a double rainbow, which was pretty cool if I say so myself! The mood was perfectly set with their Irish Folk Band, along with games and lots of conversation. Christine & Stephen played the shoe game, which got tons of laughs, as well as had games set out at the tables.

I hope you two have an amazing time in Ireland this week!!!

Congratulations Christine & Stephen!
